A letter From the CHAI President
Jan. 15, 2009

Dear Alumni,

The new officers of CHAI, along with many active members, are in the planning stages for organizing many more regional Harlam Alumni gatherings and to also foster the continued presence of CHAI at Camp Harlam. Our immediate goals are to increase the camper scholarships we already offer each year and to also find new and innovative ways for our alumni to be involved and connected with Harlam year round.

Your CHAI officers are as follows:
Josh Laster, President
Alex Grumbacher, Vice President of Outreach
Lyndsay Chauveau, Vice President of Regional Programming
Scott Fein, Communications/IT Coordinator
Dan Baratz, Treasurer

So how can you help support CHAI to help support Camp Harlam? That’s easy! There are several different ways to contribute and be involved:
1) Visit the Alumni page and register on the Alumni Gateway so we can keep you informed of all that is happening.
2) Buy a pack of CHAI Tribute Cards. They are $18 and come five to a pack. You can send them whenever you want to recognize someone for an accomplishment, congratulate them on a life cycle event, send sympathy for the loss of a loved one or just as note cards to reach out and show your support of CHAI.
3) Purchase one of our new Alumni t-shirts or order one of the old-school style alumni shirts that are still available!
4) Arie Gluck bobble heads are still for sale! $25 for The Man! Arie always looking over your shoulder and shaking his head, PRICELESS!
5) Send a donation made payable to CHAI for any amount.

Contact Josh Laster or Dan Baratz if you are interested in making a contribution, purchasing tribute cards, old-school alumni shirts, or bobble heads.

We look forward to you joining our growing list of Alumni if you are not already registered! Sign up today so we can continue to keep you informed of all that is going on in the World of CHAI.

B’Shalom, Refreshing Water and Pierogies,
Josh Laster
CHAI President
